A few weeks ago while in Saskatoon The Gaff and I were going through some ideas at his studio. We started with the Common bass line and then chopped up the Mary Jane Girls drums. The Guru acapella seemed fit so we decided to do a little tribute. I took it back to Vancouver sequenced it, added the cuts, and made the Intro, while Gaff added some keys and got it sounding nice and crispy. The end result is definitely not a club banger but just nice to listen to and reflect on one of our all time favourite groups - G-A-N-G to the Star son.
