Saturday Nov 14th Rico Uno will be inside Saskatoon's newest club "Scratch." He is teaming up with local heavy weight The Gaff to smash it. The world class talent rolling through Scratch has been amazing - Smalltown DJ's, Wax Romeo, Cobra Krames, The Eh! Team, and most recently Top Billin. If you are in the area it's a must!

Big shots out to Asif from momentum shop for lining everything up. Next month Marvel will be there and rumour has it Seko and Kutcorners will be bringing in the New Year at Scratch!

A. If I can remember correctly, it was Another Bad Creation - Coolin' at the Playground Ya Know! I was so excited about ABC because I was in grade 2 and some of the guys in the group were the same age as me! I was introduced to the East Coast Family (Boyz II Men, ABC, BBD) by my babysitter who is also responsible for my love of basketball and fine garments.

Q. What are some of your hobbies outside of djing?
A. popcorn, basketball, reading books, searching for new ideas, movies, napping, waiting forever for my new couch to arrive...

Q. What was your first job?
A. My first job was sometimes drive/sometimes receptionist for the Philippine Consulate in Vancouver.

SHOWDOWN OVER THE CITY

The Quiksilver Showdown Over the City is one of the top snowboarding events in Canada that attracts pros and ams alike from across the continent and from around the world. Going into its 3rd year, the hype continues to build about who will be the next stand out and who will walk away with the $20K in cash! Seko, Rico Uno and myself will all be DJing for this event and would love to see some familiar faces up on the hill.

This weekend's key events throughout the weekend consist of the Friday qualifiers, Friday Night Jib Session, Saturday Jump + Jib Session, outdoor BBQ + beer garden, music, demos, and a killer afterparty.
