Thanks to all the Homies and Babez that came out to our SEA/WEED party at Fortune this past Friday! You all made it a really special night.
It was the first time we all got to play together since we all are in the same city now.
And the first time in a while we got to kick it with Mad Decent homie Paul Devro. We had so much fun rocking it with you all. Special Thanks to Gman and the whole Fortune Crew. To our Sponsor RVCA for helping with the Mix we did and Cherchez for the great Fashion Show.
I'm back to Vancouver. I've missed it so, i've missed you so. I love Canada! (France is pretty damn cool right now too though) Here is the mix I did for the party at Fortune Sound club on the 21st, which is the first party i've done there in over a year. Refreshingly free of self-absorption and pretense, Action Bronson makes stupidly fun retro-rap with what is fast becoming one of the most creative approaches in the game. His high-pitched, smooth NYC flow – politely – isn’t a million miles from Ghostface Killah and sits over harmless good-time beats heavy on jazz loops, breakbeat samples and witty one-liners. He does it very, very well, with all the loveable perma-delight of a kid in the world’s biggest candy store.
This will be the 3rd year of The Freshest "Surfs Up" party inside Fortune Sound Club. This time around we have goten a grip of our closest & talented friends to shake things up.
